UK press room: Pixie Cottage gains first e-commerce foothold

The Pixie Cottage based in Weymouth has gained its first e-commerce foothold with the help of Onus designers and web engineers.

The new web site is stored on a new PowerRaq server at the Docklands site and features SSL-128 bit encryption to return the transaction details to their store in St. Alban Street in the old town area of Weymouth.

Although relatively inexperienced with the internet, Helen Moore, the manager of the store has added and removed products to and from her web site with ease and has also configured the web site to her own specification.

Selling collectables, the company plans to expand further on the internet creating a huge online store pulling costs away from regular sales and sales on eBay.
